Paraguay national team star Miguel Almiron scored the only goal of the game as Newcastle United moved closer to Premier League safety thanks to the 1-0 win at home to FA Cup semifinalists Crystal Palace. The Paraguay international scored in the first half off the assist from Brazilian international Bruno Guimares and it proved to be the winning goal.
